Is there a way to view the object/property or debug names of GUI

I think ctrl g cage transform can also be helpful it will let you
adjust the corners to make the image square if your scan or photo is
not centered or angled proper too.

So I was able to rotate with ctrl r perhaps and the mouse the dialog
comes up. Alt H was the command I used to reset.
Maybe you can try using ubuntu-studio distro from a DVD drive and in
terminal type $ rm /bin/ping* to delete ping on system start.
