[Gimp-user] setting preferences to imches?

I downloaded the gimp 2.8.18. on mac osX.11.6. I have set my increments to inches. when i open a new document, it opens in pixels, even if my previous document is in inches. How do i get gimp to always show my new documents in inches?( or whatever incrament i want) _

I loaded the current version of gimp trying to update from an older version. I use Zemana Keylogger software and the application warned me that the new version of gimp was trying to copy my clipboard. Why would you do that? I have uninstalled it. --- This email has been checked for viruses by AVG

[Gimp-user] Downloading a PC version on a Mac?

I am a Mac user, and I am trying to help someone download a pc version of gimp. When I go to the gimp download page, all I see is Mac versions. Is there a way to download a pc version using a mac? Or What is the procedure for downloading and installing GIMP on a pc? Thanks Creighton Bell
