Just guessing what you are trying to do, but I would;

Open the required image
Select all
Copy

Then move to your 300dpi image and paste (as a new layer would
probably be best)

Thanks Don. I'm sure thats what happened. The lady that took the pictures is
not real computer literate. I asked her that this morning, she is checking.
Mean while I'll try dcraw, also if I have to I'll boot XP and I have a canon
camera maybe I can open it there.

Thanks again.

It sounds like the output of Easy Photo Print, a Canon program for printing
files (from a quick web search). Find out if they can give you the original
from the camera (raw or jpeg). You can use dcraw (or other programs) to
convert raw images (http://www.cybercom.net/%7Edcoffin/dcraw/). It might
even work on the epp file.

[Gimp-user] New file type

2007-04-04 Thread russbucket
I received an image from a user of a Canon camera. It has a .epp file
extension. I've tried opening it with GIMP, Krita and XnView, none recognize
it.

Does anyone know of a Linux program that opens it. I also tried Photoshop on
XP with no luck.
