I am using a piece of software that is a total pain and will only read TIFF
files in IBM byte order. In photoshop you can specify which byte order to
save your file, is there a way of doing this in GIMP?

I do this and it works every time:
>From the GIMP command bar:
Click "File > Save As..."
In the "Save Image" window:
Click the box marked "Select File Type (By Extension)"

I usually use Photoshop Elements for this but I am using files that seem to
be too big for PSE to handle (trying to glue together t
