Since a lot of you are having a hard time getting all the bits and
pieces right when setting up Gitorious with LDAP authentication, I've

I used to always login to gitorious.org using the OpenID URL linked to my
Google account, but recently when I tried it told me to finalize my
account and asked me to register. That's odd, as I've had an account for
nearly two years (https://gitorious.org/~jwakely) and have always used
OpenID
