I tried in april and saw similar issues (duplicates).
How is ZFS on Linux doing with glusterfs? That could be an option.

I installed the OSXFUSE 2.7.2 package and commented out the osxfuse dependency
in glusterfs.rb and it installed fine on Yosemite.
