I agree with Andy. The old composer worked just fine but the new one still doesn't. Not sure if this is just a firefox issue but during a reply/forward/etc., clicking on the Plain Text mode doesn't immediately switch it to plain text mode. You need to switch to plain text mode, discard the

There are only 3 places where your email messages can be: All Mail Spam Trash If they are not in one of these three, then they are gone. They don't exist. I don't think Google has an option to restore your account from backup tapes, but that would be the only other means of getting your

Yes. When you select all messages on a page in a particular label's view, a message should then appear at the top of the listing that says something like ... All *100* messages on this page are selected. Select all *8351* messages in Groups/Gmail-Users In your case it would say all 4100
