Not being very patient, I never went back to see which of them had to
be on.
(They cut you off without warning if your download reaches 1 GB.)

of the recently used programs or documents the operating system can
retain in RAM, the faster the computer responds.

Most batteries, particularly lead-acid batteries, self discharge
whether connected or not. Keeping them in the refrigerator helps - if
you can get the cooperation of the rest of the household.

the magnetization in an oven? Our kitchen oven
goes to 270C (520F) or so, but magnetite requires 560C. Cobalt
compounds are higher. Using a Bernz-O-Matic torch would simplify
disassembly - just remove the cover.
Not that I have anything to hide, you understand. Just curious.
