[GNC] Reconciling PayPal

Someone mentioned reconciling their PayPal account. Is there a way to do this for anything other than the last transaction? I don’t seem to be able to display a balance at any point in the past. So if I wanted to know the balance on the first of July, I don’t see a way of finding it. I am trying

I have a Chase credit card account.  I used to be able to import QFX file no problem, but the last time I tried, it crashed gnucash. I thought there must be something wrong with the file and waded through it, comparing it to files that worked for other accounts.  I couldn't find anything in

UPDATE With thanks to those who advised me on this problem, I've finally managed to install the latest version of Finance::Quote and get it working. It wasn't as straightforward as I'd expected, and I ended up reinstalling Perl a couple of times in case that was the problem, but it turns out

Another possibility? In March 2021 I was reimbursed 1,340.98 by an airline for a trip to Japan which was cancelled due to Covid. In error I entered the reimbursement against my credit card, although I had paid it from my bank. That would account for the 'credit' on the credit card?
