Thank you for sharing that excellent piece. You certainly did not bore
me. There are many who still do not known that Goans (esp Catholic
men) were not the drunks depicted in Bollywood films and on propaganda
sheets.

of these individuals, and Goans generally, was recognised by the
award of the various honours(decorations). There were several
