Kalidas is still the place to go to for many. I too can vouch for its
efficacy. My mother would prepare 'cuzument' with different herbs to
get rid of our whooping cough. Another home remedy was raw egg beaten with
a spoonful of brandy added called 'egg fillip' taken first thing in the
morning.
Anything except Patanjali.

What about false hopes created for people who take such supplements and quack
cures? Even if no claims are made by the producers, the people taking them will
be in for disappointment.
Homeopathy and Ayurveda is quackery not science just like astrology, although
some Indians will swear by it.
