Seraulim is known as Sural'le in konkani language but the Konkan railway
station has already been sanskritized

Bombay), on the origin of Goan village names, makes for an interesting
read.
From the little I remember, the 'lim' ending you mention, is the
abbreviated form of the Sanskrit 'halli', meaning hamlet.
