cracked versions of JRebel http://www.jrebel.com, the commercial product,

Although these binaries aren't for the latest versions of the product, I

Thank you.

Project takeover: ja2

2012-05-11 Thread Dennis Schridde
Hello!

I would like to take over the ja2 project [1] currently owned by gcyunMail.

My intention is to host the ja2-straciatella code to bring that project back
to some speed and ease collaboration.

In the following I will answer the questions mentioned in your FAQ [2]:
How long has the project lay fallow? If less than 6 months, don't be
optimistic about being assigned ownership of the project.
About 3 years

Is there something fishy about the circumstances of the request? People
squat project names much as they do DNS names.
Read about my intentions above.

Is there code in that project? If so, it is much less likely that we will
reassign ownership of that project to you except for the purpose of continuing
development of that code.
No

Is the project scheduled for deletion? If so, we'll likely just give it to
you.
Not that I know of.

Is the project you wish to take over a spam trap or hosting malware or
simply not open source?
Possible - it hosts just one binary file.

Have you made an effort in good faith to contact the current owners? What,
if anything, did they have to say in reply?
3 emails in January, February and March 2011 - no reply.

Has one of the original developers died or otherwise dropped off the grid in
some fashion that you can describe to us?
Not that I know of.

Have you hosted malware, spam or non-open source content on Project Hosting
before? If so, don't be optimistic that we'll cooperate.
No, never.

Re: svnsync checksum mistmatch

2012-05-11 Thread Lucas Bergman
Gross. I've seen an error like this once before, and it meant that an old
revision in your repository got corrupted in at least one datacenter but
not others. We can fix it, but it requires considerable manual work, and
there is a non-zero risk of doing further damage. If you need us to take
care of it, please just contact us again through this list, and we'll fit
it in where we can.

Since you've moved to Git, probably best just to stick with that.

Sorry about the trouble,

 What project?

 Hi,

I was writing the book Pro Android Augmented Reality,
http://www.apress.com/9781430239451, and was including the AndAR project
in it as an open source augmented reality Engine for Android. As I was
researching on it, I noticed that the project has not been updated in
around a year, and that the original developer hasn't been active on social
networks like Twitter for close to six months as well.

I wrote him a mail 3 days ago, but he hasn't responded.

I would like to continue the development of this project, and would
appreciate it if it could be transferred to my account (
 raghavs...@gmail.com).

 Thanks

SVN tags: are there protected from modification after creation

2012-05-11 Thread efe4it
I recently created branches then tags in my googleode SVN repository.
Alas my first tags release 1.0 was broken.
I noticed I could not commit a hotfix to the released tags.

I understand it is bad practice to alter a tag branche after
creation, so I just ask for clarification.

Are there hook scripts enableto prevent commit on tag branches?
Does that mean I actually will never be able to svndelete an outdated
tag from the repository in the future?

Regards

I use Google Code for personal use only, hosting some small projects and

 Thank you,
