I think there is a mistake of rejecting my access request

2013-03-26 Thread Fromtm
I sent a email to Google(
google-code-hosting-account-resoluti...@googlegroups.com) last week :

For about two years, I can't open google code, I don't know why.

I think there must were some problems with your judgement system.

I need access my google code, please recheck my application.

Anyhow, give my a answer.

Thank you!

And I received the reply:” Your account was banned for using Google Code
for file hosting, in violation of the Terms of Service.”

Then I replied again:

Hi, thank you for your reply.

Anyhow, I must keep my appeal.

You said about the Terms of Service, but I don't know them when I use
Google services.

I think when you use any Internet service, you probably won't care about
it's lengthy terms of use.

When my account was banned, I didn't know what happened, so I google the
reason. After that, I knew the relevant terms. However, I had haven't a
chance to correct my fault at that time.

Google did not even give me a warning, just shut my account down suddenly
-- that make me feel be violated.

I think that was unfair.

Actually, I never need the file hosting function, if I knew the rule
before, why should I do that?

All the above were my statement. My mother language is not English, so if
this letter make you confused, please contact me.

Thank you!

But I did’t receive the answer untill now….

2013-03-26 Thread Jason Hall
I have re-enabled your account as you were banned 2+ years ago and the
offending project has been deleted.

Please take some time to familiarize yourself with the Terms of Service to
avoid being banned again.

require increase of project space

2013-03-26 Thread wohlgemuth
dear google team,

I'm in the process of moving a project I have been working on from
sourceforge.net to google code and my svn repository is about 8GB right now
and I'm planning on converting it to git and utilize google code for this.

Could it be possible to increase my project quota from 4GB to 10GB?

The project is fairly large and I'm working in it since close to 14 years
now.

The google code project:

https://code.google.com/p/binbase/

The sourceforge project:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/binbase/

kind regards,

Gert
