get your repository back into a good state. When we're back to 100% I can
try again. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Any suggestions on how to fix?

Requesting take-over of the go-dbf project

2013-09-13 Thread Lindsay Bradford
Hi there.

I've recently been using the open-source project go-dbf for an internal
project. It needed some love to get into a usable state (see link). I've
tried contacting the author via email, G+ instant messaging, and now
go-nuts (
https://groups.google.com/forum/?hl=en#!topic/golang-nuts/LwEhh1floPg), all
to no avail. I don't want to see these changes lost, or the project
abandoned, as I'm likely to need it again in the future. To that end, I'm
seeking permission to take over its admin/development.

Failing that, I'm considering taking a fork and hosting the fork elsewhere
under a similar name to ensure the changes are available to others.
Honestly though, if I can track the original author down and get the fixes
incorporated, I can avoid all this. :)

kind regards,

Lindsay.

Re: Clone link

2013-09-13 Thread larsga
I would badly like to know the same. I used to tell people to contribute to
my project by using clones, but now that seems to be impossible, yet
there's been no announcement regarding this that I can find. What's going
on?

It's hard to see how I can keep using Google Code without this feature,
since that would leave us back with the old "email me your patches" system
from the stone age.
