I got the person who put up the code to take it down . . . can someone
please confirm to me that it has been taken down?

We no longer have a relationship with this developer. They have no rights

Are you taking down the code or does something else that we need to

If you can't take it down, right now, can you at least change the title so
it doesn't have our company name, Powabunga, designating the code . . .

unless it breaks their ToS in some other way, like:
* containing malware,
* not providing source code,
* not being under a proper open source license,
* being generic file hosting.
