Sorry, I spoke too early. It wasn't clear that the Polygon is rendered on
top (i.e. higher z-index) than the FusionTablesLayer.
Definitely sounds like a bug. Can you file one on the issue tracker please?

Hi Marco,
There is no style option for StreetViewAddressControlOptions.

This was removed some time ago -- it was never properly documented.

Hi,
Could you give an example using the Autocomplete Web Service? What is the
correct lat/lng? Also, is the Geocoding API giving the correct result?

I've reopened the bug. As far as I know this is not technically feasible at
the moment, but that may change in the future if a new Directions backend is
implemented. You'd probably see it on maps.google.com first, though.
To the OP - as above, it's not possible to tell the DirectionsService to
You're probably getting a ReferenceError on the line
if (!infoWindow2)
because infoWindow2 does not exist. This can be fixed by adding a var
infoWindow2.
Alternatively, change the if statement to if (typeof infoWindow2 ==
'undefined')

Hi Paul,
The Directions service does not require a key. The following URL works fine:

Hi Barry,
Please refer to the Earth API group:

As far as I'm aware, a key is necessary for the Earth API. The Maps V3 API
does not require a key.
Cheers

Rhys,
I'd look at some PDF libraries. If the PDF is formatted well, it can be easy
to extract. For example:
http://www.unixuser.org/~euske/python/pdfminer/index.html
As Rossko said, the Places API is not suitable for this sort of use case.

Hi Quy,
There's not really a name for it, but in essence it's a path finding
algorithm based on a heuristic that accounts for factors such as time
travelled, distance travelled, number of turns, etc.

Indeed. This would have been in 3.4, which is now the lowest version you can
request (now stable release).
Note that you wouldn't have had a hole on Android, even using 3.3 or below.

I get a tooltip in Mac/Chrome 14. What is the exact browser you're using?
You can get it via navigator.userAgent:
javascript:alert(navigator.userAgent)
