There were some mirroring issues on Central (gwt-codeserver-2.6.1.jar being a 404 while listed at …/gwt-codeserver/2.6.1/, same symptom) and Sonatype told me it was now OK: https://twitter.com/sonatype_ops/status/465278441458114560 At least gwt-codeserver is now OK. Ping them if you have issues.
