Hi all, do you have any experiences / references with GPFS (ECE) scaling in terms of IOPS performance? We are looking for HPC scratch storage with 5M IOPS (4KiB block size, 80%/20% read/write) with two drives failure redundancy. Thank you! Petr Plodik

Carl,   Thanks; correct. A couple of observations:   1) As highlighted by a prior response, the fix for the 7.7 newer kernel issue is present on 5.0.4.4. See https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/node/6193107     2) 5.0.4.4, as released last week, will not work on 7.8 . (some of the changes/fixes

Right now the dev/test team is working flat-out to try to get RHEL 7.8 supported with the upcoming 5.0.5 release, expected this month. We haven't yet made a decision about 5.0.4.4. It will depend on what we learn about the changes required to support RHEL 7.8, and whether those are small
