Hi,
trying to use the georectify tool through the wxGUI, the rms error for
each point did not display in the array, and the rectify operation
finally failed.
The returned message was :
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/local/grass-6.4.0svn/etc/wxpython/gui_modules/g
Yes it is (formerly I believe it was not, sorry).

Perhaps a good way to proceed is to read some documentation for a first
approach. This document
https://subversion.gdf-hannover.de/dl.php?download=gdf_grass60_v1.2_en.pdf can
help you, especially chapters 4 to 6.
In a few words, you have to create a location according to your
projection parameter
Another suggestion, perhaps quite superficial : it would be interesting
to reload the windows sizes and positions (layer manager, display,
terminal).

But I thought the whole idea of GRASS7 was to introduce new functionality
that is not necessarily intended to be backwards compatible with 6.x series?

But the landsat images are of different dates and in some case different years.
I found some mosaicing debates here:

2 schools of thought appear:
1. Mosaic image then classify
2. Classify individual images then mosaic
