[GRASS-user] GRASS/gdal grib2 decoding issue for new NCEP MRMS data

2015-01-19 Thread Thomas Adams
All: I'm not on the gdal-...@lists.osgeo.org mailing list, so I can not report this here. NOAA/NCEP is producing new hourly CONUS NEXRAD radar-based meteorological data -- my interest is precipitation. The data is available now via a UCAR LDM process, described in the 1st link. The problem is

Thanks for the video and tips Mark. I'll try to fix the topology by hand. My roads network is not that large so it won't take too much time. On Sun, Jan 18, 2015 at 9:00 AM, Mark Wynter m...@dimensionaledge.com wrote: Daniel, have you seen this example of using grass with QGIS?

Re: [GRASS-user] SQLITE db locking problem - update

2015-01-19 Thread Mark Wynter
Still no luck solving SQLite db locking issue. I’ve opted for PG db instead - a nicer solution insofar PG is where the data comes from and goes to in my analytics pipeline. There’s also an efficiency dividend, thanks to the v.out.postgis -t flag - which exports the grass geometries and cat

2015-01-19 Thread Daniel Victoria
Thanks Moritz, I was just getting confused because of the layers. I've now added a new layer to my roads vector, added new cats and created the network. v.net.components worked nicely. I just need to study more how these layers work so I can have a layer with the new categories and not loose the
