Hey PaulD,
If you're testing out Orweb, could you also take a look at Orfox, you
can get the apk here https://guardianproject.info/builds/Orfox/ . You
could also report issues over at
? Does Tor Browser also
disable this API? Or is this just a Fennec/Firefox Mobile thing?

Amogh Pradeep:
Yup, its really fascinating.
Checked this with OrFox and the battery api is disabled, and no scripts
disables it again!

Hmm, looks like this was recently added! That's good news, prevents a
lot of other apps from breaking.
Now, as for the switch to ch.boye entirely, this was something I
discussed with Mozilla. Since they were including the lib anyway, they

Talking about Orfox out of beta. I have a free month coming up.
I have a vacation at college this December. Wouldn’t mind putting in some work
into making that happen.

Oh well, looks like the guys at apache seem to have figured this out.
As far as I remember, the blocker we were having was going to be fixed as soon
as they resolved https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HTTPCLIENT-1632.
And so we seem to have some supported httpclient that should work across all
of Orfox with Netcipher.
Thats all for now.
I will be at PETS in Darmstrad next week, if anyone wants to discuss something
Orfox, you can find me there!

And it also helps with judging what we must do next.
4) Orfox Logo update.
Thanks to Nathan, we have a new logo for Orfox :D [4]
We had to replace our old one as it looked too much like Mozilla’s fox.

Hey everyone,
Android App Bundles [0] seem to be a requirement for all *new apps*
starting August 2021 [1].
The blog post doesn't explicitly point it out but this would mean all
APKs would be generated and signed by Google Play.
I can see this being a problem for Guardian Project and other
