Beth, See the Mardi Gras Museum next door to the St. Louis Cathedral. The costumes are wonderful and so creative. The museum is the building to the right of St. Louis. The Cathedral also has some nice statues. I don't know since the Katrina...about nighttime safety... But we took a carriage
