Thanks, Suzi. I, too, had searched the BBC website but could only find it mentioned in the listings. Typical that TV companies make a big fanfare over all the standard historical reconstruction programmes, but not this really worthwhile one (though there was a feature in Radio Times). Kate

You lucky people across the pond!! I read about this series in a recent issue of BBC History and hope it will come to the U.S. eventually to our PBS stations or perhaps AE or the History Channel. I don't think it will be soon--it took quite a while for Regency House Party to come to our shores.

My first thought was that this was based on that How Green Was My Valley movie from the 40s. For a split second there, I was trying to figure out how on earth that could possibly be turned into a reality series... And Ronald has survived the longest in the coal mine without getting gastric
