Comic Con is during July in San Diego and will be broadcast live on G4 (cable
station). G4 was advertising it Sunday during the Ninja Warrior marathon. You
might get to see it on satellite TV. I am giving it up to go to World Con.
Right now is Con season. I was at Anime Con Mid-Atlantic
definitely not travel half-way around the world for it.

Since Costume Con is held by a different group every year, there is a
variability in what classes are offered, and their quality. It all
depends on who is running Programming, and who is attending and
willing to teach. Different regions bring in different people. CC

I'm thinking about travelling to the US to attend a historic sewing
conference some time in 2010 when I'm not organising any here grin.
Can you send me names and weblinks to any you know of? So far I only
know about the Genteel Academy one in March. As I'm running the Jane
Austen Festival in April
putting my fingers in my ears and closing my eyes I have been to three
cons since May 1 and a Halloween costume trade show in March. I am hoping
to go to World Con in August. My camera and laptop have had a work out!
Now I am rushing to get all the photos online.
Costume College is
Costume College in the Los Angeles area. I don't know next year's dates, but it
will be at a larger Marriott hotel, which hopefully means more room for more
people to attend.
