I graduated college in 84 recall being a bit amused amazed that
all the office guys were wearing pink. Yup. Pink shirt or pink shirt
white collar cuffs. Either way, accessorize with a pinker tie. Med
grey suit. I'm remembering Wash DC/ Beltway Bandit office wear.

The Yellow Power Tie is a bit passe, at this point. I am not sure what the
power color is these days. I have noticed that strongly colored dress shirts
are in vogue. And I always keep an eye open for those daring few who know

When I was in prep school (1971-75) and had to wear a coat and tie to class,

Dark (black or dark grey) blazers with little flecks of color in the fabric

The folktale to it is that Reagan invented it where another says the a news
