I have about 30 official Ubuntu 8.04 LTS CDs I got via ShipIt a few months back. We could hand them out, since, at least for now, that is the version installed at the lab. I guess whoever installs it at home, will find the way to update it to 9.04 when the time is right... I'll bring my CD stack

Dotan, The policy I would like to promote is that of diversity. OOo is great, but people should be able to choose between (at least) LaTeX, OOo, LyX, AbiWord, and KOffice. KOffice is more slick, but less compatible. I think that students should be exposed to a variety of tools. If I had to force
