I'm clearly hearing Voice of Vietnam broadcasting in French on 9730 right
now. Talking about the history of relationship with Cuba and Castro.
Well, QRM from CRI broadcasting continuous music on the same frequency, but
with some AM sync I can pull them off.

Argentine remote, LRA36 ID and credits, into another anniversary
salute with a song, S7/9+5. I guess they signed on somewhat earlier,
but nothing there at previous chex before and after 1800. Still going
at 1943 check with `Uniendo
Thanks. Yes, I have then on 9730 and 11885 today. So hopefully all is well
with their service.

Tokyo Japan SDR units - remotedly:
15600even UZB Via RRTM Telecom Tashkent Uzbekistan Shortwave Trans-
mitting bcast center, AWR Asia in
9840 and 12020 -- Voice of Vietnam is missing this morning from these two of
its usual frequencies. Together with yesterday's absence from 11885, it has me
concerned that they may be dropping their non-Vietnamese language services.
Anyone have any info about it? They do seem to be on 11720
