probably Santa Rosa. Unfortunately, I can't hear any

of German language news
and features. At 1110 a male gives live ID. Signal

Spanish comments from a man. At 1052 a second man joins with a possible
political message
and starts with an ID as, "Buenas Dias, Radio Nacional del Paraguay ...".
And regular
program returns at 1055 with music.
Philippines, 9720, Radio Veritas Asia, 1020-1040 Noted a woman in Mandarin
comments until 1033 when brief music presented followed by probable ID by
a man in Mandarin. Then woman continues with discourse. Signal was fair

the hour "... Cuzco ...".
Signal was poor with
North Korea, 6071.53, Voice of Korea, (presumed!) 0956-1021 Noted a woman
in
comments. Could not ID the language since the signal was too weak. At 0957
noted a period of silence until 1000 when chimes heard briefly followed by
more comments by a woman. I believe this is the carrier I have been

until 0931 when
possible ID given followed by Indonesian comments from a man. At 0933 back

Brazil, 6160, Radio Rio Mar (pres) 1002-1020 Noted a man in Portuguese
comments on
reverb. It was difficult to hold on to this since he kept fading in and
out. Caught him on parallel
frequency of 9695 KHz with just about the same problem of fade out. Never
noticed this
Brazil before on 6160, but
Colombia, 6139.77, Radio Melodia, 0915-0944 Noted mainly Rancheros type
music with
ID's between tunes. ID's seemed to be canned and were for "Radio Lider".
Not to hot with
my Spanish, but ID one ended up as, "Transmite Radio Lider ...Bogata, ...
Melodia, Colombia".

Well the BBC's reduction in coverage controversy has subsided slightly. I
noticed however, that
they will be broadcasting a half hour of the Greek Language on 7210 KHz
between 2215 to 2245 each day. This is new coverage.Why they are
