These are two of my favorite Shortwave stations/programs. I enjoy cultural
stuff, wether I listen passively or attentively. Plus, I can hear either
one pretty much anytime I tune in.
Conditions have to be beyond horrible, the worst all year for me to NOT be
able to hear Radio Thailand's 13745 khz
This is effective as of 0800UTC on October 30, 2016 which would be
12midnight for me, 4am for eastern time.
It looks like the only change for the english programs that I can see is
the utc to 0100 utc and 0200 to 0230utc broadcasts that were on 15590
are on 13745.
I did finally hear what i think was Radio Thailand on 17640 AT 0530 UTC,
WHICH IS 930PM here... but it was too in the mush to verify WHAT exactly I
was hearing

Radio Thailand's 15590kHz/9390kHz are by far the strongest, steadiest, most
consistent signals on shortwave at my location. The PL880 often shows a
50-65dbv signal level, sometimes stronger and a S/N ratio of 05-20, usually
in the low teens.
