How can I chwenge from the 9 kHz steps in wich my
new Sangean ATS-606A receiver tune to the 10 kHz steps. Except for a very few
caribbean splits, most Latin are using 10 kHz splits, and until I get a better
antenna, I wouldn't get any trans-atlantics anyway.

104.3 unIDs AUG 21 1956 EDT - 3 stations mixing here, one with oldies,
I`m not kidding at all. I know I can hear them often even with the
telescopic antenna unextended at all into it`s socket on the Sangean 606
witht excellent strenghts.
But it isn`t the same way in Europe. I only heard once some Spanish on 6.03
MHz using the Umea`s Web-controlled shortwave receiver

This afternoon I managed to re-install the long-wire in our own back-yard wich I
didn`t manage to do since I returned from the summer camp near Quebec City were my
Sanyo radio broked (I taked it instead on our travels to New-Bruntswick and
Île-Bizard) and managed to pull
I just received an e-mail from a DX`er called Bob Montgomery that did point to me the
Radio Sawa transmitter on 12010 was from Marocco not from the Phillipines (the PWBR do
not list any Maroccan station on this channel, and the Phillipines seemed to me the
most likely outlet of all the stations
Just sayed 0 Hours, 4 minutes, 4 seconds Universal Time followed by time pips. Very
strong, but with intense and abrupt fadings however.
