Anyone come across XP laptops not staying in standby or hibernate modes?
I have two here (personal and work) that just won't sleep. My work one
definitely used to, but now when you close the lid it goes to standby, but
just wakes up again within a few seconds. The same happens if you manually

WOL isn't on, and neither laptop is connected to a wires LAN.
Nothing has changed to the configuration that I know of.
It's really starting to annoy me :)

Tried with both the IE5 that installs with Windows98 and an upgrade to IE6.
Also tried before and after windows update.
