I just sold a lot of stuff on Ebay, and felt like spending a little of
it. So I upgraded the CPU on my media box. It was a Northgate P4 3.0
800Mhz FSB 512KB cache, and I upgraded to a Prescot P4 3.4 800Mhz 1MB
cache. I didn't expect much. I thought I might get a 10 percent boost. but
since I
send ip and I will see if I can communicate with printer

But the video encoding, which is a real world use test for me, was 18.69
percent faster. This is pretty darn good, and makes a real world
difference. It also makes the upgrade worth doing, for encoding
purposes. I will notice the difference with that
my bad, darn auto fill address anyway

Which WD drive is better?
WD3200JD OR
MAX 10 6L300S0
I'd go with the WD3200JD. The Maxtor DiamondMax 10 line has yet to prove
increased reliability over the seemingly troubled DM9 line. You might
consider taking a look at Seagate's Barracuda 7200.8 as well, as it is
backed by a 5-year warranty, if nothing else.

Anyone convert or beta test it? Any recommended websites for drivers/info?
I'm using the beta from MS right now, but 1/2 of my devices don't have
drivers. I e-mailed Epson tech support but got a pretty crappy response.
Just wondering if there were a lot of sites out there with info.
Check around; a lot of drivers are out there.. I'm still dual booting, but
so far, so good.
