Hi Guys,
Just bought my first DVD burner. Wondered if I could
backup DVDs. Read lotsa stuff on the 'Net. Seems
the consensus was to extract files using DVDShrink
then burn with Nero. So am using DVDShrink 3.2 and
Nero 6.612.
DVDShrink extracts, then calls Nero. Nero burns a
coaster.
I see you got the legend of the screen to autograph your game. Is she as
hot in person as on film? ;)

Ok, here's the E3 2005 review. I'm sure there will be changes and some
additions once Robert reminds me about what I forgot to mention :)

I use ANYDVD and either nero recode or DVDCOPY2
haven't used DVD shrink lately except to combine two disks to one when
nero was anal about it :)(

CloneDVD alongside the AnyDVD
prog keeps it simple and yet powerful. The best combo in my opinion.

One way is to use DVD decrypter for some of the newer copy
protections... rip that to hdd, then use dvdshrink to grab the .vob
files from the folder and create the DVD.

DVD Decrypt or to create an iso image, load the image as virtual in
Alcholol120. Then use DVD shrink, cutting off the long intro and credits.
Then load those files into NeroVision Express so I can add some chapters.
Burn that to a directory. Then use Nero to burn the DVD. Seems

This all sounds nice, but as a General Contractor, builder, and developer,

I went to the trouble of pulling several CAT5e runs in my house

Do you think that in the life span of the house that wireless capabilities

some areas just don't support wireless very well. To much interference,

Guys, we're basically discussing something not quite kosher. I don't have
access to who's on the list anymore, so maybe doesn't matter, but uh,
generally not a good idea.

For those of you like me who fondly remember the old Screensavers show
on TechTV (before Comcast gutted it and turned it into crap) the show
is back, sort of. The main people behind the show - Leo Laporte,
Patrick Norton, Yoshi, Kevin Rose, Robert Heron - have started a

Once I have created an unprotected *.ISO and installed it in a virtual drive

Good point - I just back up the dvd's I buy for the twins (11 years old) I
got tired of yelling everytime the dvd's were laying on the family room
floor. Worse yet I looked at the backs of several of them - some I am amazed
that they even play - they look like the ice after an NHL game.
Saw itgreat...
