In my experience, if you delete files from the Dropbox site, the files in the
sync folder will also be deleted after sync. To me this make sense. This is why
I keep a sync folder and a data folder for the files going to Dropbox.

have deleted them thinking they would remain on the dropbox machine. It

Yeah, they both have a USB 3.0 ports (afaik), but the netgear has it on
the front rather than at the back (there is a usb 2.0 port there). I
think that is a funky design error.

Duncan...I found the app useful because it let me print to my printer
from my tablets. Beyond that, I don't know if it is useful or not, but
