Adaware reports only 17 object and they are all cookies. I
really have no idea about this. My work laptop which does the same now, has a
corporate anti virus (I forget if it is Symantec of MacAfee). so I'm sure it
isn't a virus.

Mine is an HP Pavilion, and the works one is a Toshiba
something-or-other (pile of steaming cr*p). Can't think of any software
installed on either that could do this. The Tosh has been fine until recently,
that's what made me think it might be an XP update causing this, but then I

My HP will update the HP software that came installed (maybe that's
another place to look). I typically don't do updates as I don't use
that software much and I have not installed SP2 on it. Mine
works...knock wood!

Nothing has changed to the configuration that I know of.
