ram after testing and said one was bad. little slower on rma then in the past
but still handled it.

166 to get a stable system, eventually pulled all 3 and went to twin 512's.

for me I use System Guardian that backs up daily to a second completely
bootable backup hd ( and with drive pooling the backup can be rotated ) could
be used on any drive in the system though.
I also use Karens Power Tools to clone some data over the LAN and a batch file
to backup Quickbooks

tried this windowsonecare on one of my test boxes, looks good but not ready for
prime time. Would lock up and not run. ( the program, not the puter )
wish it was a download so I could try it again after uninstall or on another
test box without the mother may I routine, but I will anyway for
try it again but I did install it twice. Shouldn't do that.

I'm testing this and it seems that if you let it do it's thing for a while
after the first boot it will not lock up. I tried twice to use
FWIW I had a similar problem and it seems my modem was not on the *approved*
list anymore so got a new Motorola from Cox for $60 and all is better, have not
had to reset the modem once. ( the router a couple of times) but the modem has
been a rock.
