I think you'll need to reinstall some of the apps. I'm guessing if you restore a backup of the way it is now, (an image type backup) the restore is going to choke because the external card isn't there any more. I'd try to move personal files (pics, movies) to the PC, (or backup of your choice) to make more room. Then move the apps from the external card to internal memory, then try a backup. Good luck and please let us know how it goes. Al On Sun, Sep 1, 2019 at 7:13 PM Winterlight wrote: > > I haven't tried it yet. I bought this tablet. http://preview.tinyurl.com/ybrzuqal The screen is very dark, clear and sharp; but dark. The Nexus 10 has screen issues after playing movies for a couple of hours. The bottom of the screen would pixilate, freeze, turn odd colors. I got a refund from the seller and was told to not bother returning it. It does much better with a small fan running behind it; 12V case fan running on 5V, very quiet. Bought a Certified Refurbished Nexus 10 off Amazon, same problem right out of the box. Sent it back, got refund. So I have the original Nexus I bought to play with for free. Before doing an OS install, I used to put a couple of gigs of stuff on a drive. Then after the install, and letting the OS work for a short while, I'd remove the filler stuff, and defrag would have all that space to move the files into. Back in the 98se days, when the OS would keep track of which files were used most. Don't know how effective it was, but it seemed to do well. -- Al xtemp...@comcast.net
