Thank you for the quick response and the education I just received
about multi/all region DVD players. Unless you have specific
information as to where I can get one of these machines, I have all the
information I need regarding the regions that each country falls into.

DVD's are encoded by region and a DVD encoded for one region will not play
on a DVD player from another region. This was done so that hollywood could
release movies to different regions of the world at different times.

Does anyone know anything about whether an Israeli/European DVD
requires a special DVD player. (a la PAL for VHS)?
Does anyone have one, and if so, do you have information on where to
buy it and how much it costs?
