[ha-Safran]: e-books publication: JTS and the Schocken Institute

2011-10-30 Thread jtspress
Dear Friends,

At the start of this New Year, we are pleased to announce that
JTS-Schocken Institute for Jewish Research has renewed its online
book store. Our books are now available in electronic form, and can
be purchased via our website:

http://www.schocken-jts.org.il/english/

The process is easy and user-friendly, and now you can enjoy a
variety of titles published at The Jewish Theological Seminary (JTS)
and The Schocken Institute for Jewish Research. Selections can be
made from a wide spectrum of disciplines including commentaries and
scholarly editions on Rabbinic responsa and literature, Hebrew
language, Jewish education, and more.

You are also most welcome to visit at our Facebook Fan Page:

[ha-Safran]: E-books?

2011-09-08 Thread Adas Israel Librarian
Dear librarians:

Do any of you have information about making e-books available to
library patrons? We are a synagogue library – looking into the
possibility of (1) offering a few e-book titles to our patrons or (2)
offering some reference materials on an e-book basis (e.g. certain
JPS commentaries) or (3) offering a single e-book title that many
people could read at one time either for a class or for a
congregational reading program.

Any info or experience that you can share?

Thanks in advance.

[ha-Safran]: E-Books

2010-06-03 Thread Heather Lenson
I am interested in E-Books. How do small libraries such as synagogues
and day school libraries manage circulation of

E-Books?

[ha-Safran]: e-books in Hebrew for high school students

2006-03-09 Thread lahad5
Does anyone know of literature-based e-books in Hebrew, either books
originally in Hebrew or books which are translated from English? I
am interested in those which are available online for free as well as
for a fee.

Thank you.
