Re: [HCP-Users] two maximum points using -metric-extrema

2018-08-24 Thread Timothy Coalson
The -metric-extrema command doesn't draw ROIs, it sets single vertices to 1 or -1 based on if they are a local maximum or minimum. By default, if there are two equal values that are closer than the search range, then *neither* of them will be identified as an extrema. If they are further then

I don’t really understand the question, so perhaps with some pictures and the command you used it would be clearer. Matt. From: Xinyang Liu mailto:xinyang_ie...@163.com>> Date: Friday, August 24, 2018 at 7:11 AM To: Matt Glasser mailto:glass...@wustl.edu>> Cc: HCP 讨论组

Hi Tong, Our Aspera server is configured to use TCP and UDP Port 33001 for file transfers instead of a common port such as Port 22. If you are downloading from behind an institutional firewall, please speak with your IT people to ensure that Port 33001 is open to both TCP and UDP traffic. You

[HCP-Users] Unable to download data even if test on IBM Aspera Connect was all OK

2018-08-24 Thread Wu, Tong
Dear HCP user team, I'm trying to download data from ConnectomeDB using the Aspera plugin. However, even if online test tool from IBM Aspera says that my system status is all OK (OS, ROWSER, connect, TCP and UDP ports), I still cannot download data. For example, if I click the link to download

Dear Matt, I figured out the first problem after a search in the freesurfer mailing list, but encountered another one: due to an error that was raised when freesurfer could not find a file named - 'RB_all_2008-03-26.gca', we realised we are using a more recent freesurfer version (6.0.0) than the

Hi, Matt. Thank you very much for your reply. The extreme point was searched in a certain surface area. Do you mean that even there are two maximum points with the same value, they were controlled in a limited distance and therefore, the final drawn ROI is a combined region of two drawings

I believe there is a configurable setting that sets the minimum distance between extrema. It is a local min/max that is found. Matt. From: mailto:hcp-users-boun...@humanconnectome.org>> on behalf of Xinyang Liu mailto:xinyang_ie...@163.com>> Date: Friday, August 24, 2018 at 4:21 AM To: HCP

[HCP-Users] two maximum points using -metric-extrema

2018-08-24 Thread Xinyang Liu
Dear HCP experts, Hi. When using workbench command "-metric-extrema" to draw ROI around the maximum point of the fMRI surface region, what would happen if there are two maximum points? Will the software keep both of them or only keep one? Thanks a lot. Best regards, Xinyang
