Have anyone told the ehcache guys to update their cacheprovider ?
As you can see in http://forum.hibernate.org/viewtopic.php?t=938297,
we are now bundling our own ehcache provider to work around the need for
having
start/stop on the providers.
This makes it an requirement that hibernate
I did ask Greg Luck to remove the hibernate ehcache provider from the
ehcache distribution when I did commit the new one. but I had no answer.
Gavin is a commiter for ehcache, he could do the job.

AnnotationBinder. So does Max I think.
If you set the binder in another package, you'll have to set some stuffs
public. Plus the Mapping and SecondPass objects will be shared by the
cfg

You are correct about your need to extend configuration/dialect.
You probably also need to look at Table.primaryKey and see where it

I could also use that in context of JDBCBinder. At the moment
JDBCConfiguration works together with hbm.xml files, but not
with annotations because we use inheritance instead of delegation
to add features
