I use methyl acetate to de-plasticize my PMMA slides.. . 30 minutes, air
dry for a minute or two then re-hydrate in 100% and 95% alcohol, rinse in
water. I make my own PMMA ,rather than using Technovit, maybe that has
something to do with it. Has worked for me for 25+ years!
