Ok guys, what bugs are you noticing with sourcetv? We really want to use
it on Nemu's Stomping Ground so i've been writing a plugin to make it
behave.
Currently i've fixed:
- players joining sourcetv someone cause the 'current players' reading
on the server list to balloon up to massive
This sounds suspiciously like the bug that I and others have reported
where the server port shows up as the SourceTV port in the server
browser. Thus when people try to connect to the server they end up on
SourceTV. I haven't noticed being able to spawn and play...
I've assumed this is the bug
Sorry, i was not correct in explanation of problem
well my situation
we have close intranet, all outer connections is blocked(this agreement
with provider)
if i just start server it won't work (no masterservers , no vac) - all

but we have one outer connection, and we made router
Hi all
i found error at http://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Source_TV
To setup a SourceTV relay proxy, start a Source Dedicated Server process
without a running a map. The tv_relay command connects the relay proxy to
another SourceTV server/proxy. Here an example how to create a SourceTV
Is the gravelpit exploit back again? Because I just banned somebody for

I heard there are still exploits in Gravel Pit and Granary, but they are
like private, so you can't find how to do it except you find out yourself
or you see the few guys who know how to do it when they are doing it...

Ok I just found a video, it's the same jumping bug as Dustbowl, 2fort, etc
(works on every map) and you get under the ground... I won't give the link
because it's probably forbidden here...

It's probably better to give us a link because we can be more proactive
at fixing it on our servers.

This is from the logs, but the clients reported that locally it gave a
piracy error message. Unfortunately there is no one around anymore to
request the exact message from.

No Steam Logon is just a message that the client needs to log out of Steam

I've asked a couple of times for the client message to be changed to
something more meaningful.
a better message would be:

I'm not hearing anything like this on my servers though.
I've seen groups of players get this at intervals, just mostly coincidence I

Nah, the clients could rejoin straight away without needing to reboot steam
or anything. VAC is enabled on our servers, so if they would be VAC banned
they wouldn't be able to rejoin. And to be honest I don't think any of them
would use illegal accounts.
