I don't think you have to change the vdf file in the Linux version. The
plugin system will try appending .dll and _i486.so when trying to load
plugins.
The error looks pretty self-explanatory to me. I linked to GLIBC 2.4 during
compilation and you don't have it.

I am getting the glib errors on servers that I have hosted with
gameservers.com. I have a smaller TF2 server on a dedicated box hat loads
fine. But gameservers.com doesn't support the GLIB version you are using
for this plugin.

What glib version are you running?
If you're on Linux, it's probably better to use this iptables rule:
iptables -A INPUT -p udp --dport 27015 -m length --length 28 -j DROP
Assuming you have root access.

I honestly don't know.. this is a hosted solution and I don't have access
to the server console or ssh. I tried opening a ticket to get the info but
all I got was a canned retard reply from a admin who wouldn't know what
GLIBC was if I beat him over the head with it.

There is still some work going into the next update for Team Fortress 2. We
were hoping to have this out this week, but with the extra testing we need to
do, the update has been pushed back to early next week. This update will
include the timeout fix during map change.

I just looked at the logs from one of my servers and it turns out that
I've been getting that error too. It doesn't seem to cause any problems,
but it is annoying.
If you move the steam file into the proper folder, it does get rid of
this message, though: Could not locate steam binary:./steam,
I am pretty sure they would pimp a major update a little bit more than
just a 2 sentence email. This is just bugfixes I am sure.

I've updated the plugin and also included a CSS version. The updated version
removes the GLIBC 2.4 requirement and also adds a daf_log CVAR. The CVAR
will log attacking IPs to a file (addons/daf/log.txt).
