I think if there was a web based interface for booking time and uploading
maps etc it would be a great idea.
If its not all automated though it will be a nightmare to run.

Yeah, I checked at FPS Banana but their posting rules specifically prohibit

You could make a webpage which writes requests and bookings to a timeslot,
then create a cron job to run at a specified time interval, which reads info
from the database and writes a maplist and additional cfg (tags/hostname
change, etc). Then get it to RCON to the server and restart it. You could

Etf2l.org have been doing work with map makers in competitions in both
playing, and development of said maps as well as pugs and such to help
developers. Might be worth posting there.

It would just be best to add a tag to the end of the map name. say,
CTF_2Fort_MyMap.
