I've been using -sys_ticrate in the commandline for quiet some time now. 66 tic
on a 32 slot tfc frag server and 100 tic on a tfc conc server... anyways...
still works.
The main thing I was going to ask seems to have fixed itself in this beta. In
the hlds0319 beta
Why are you talking about 66/100 tic? It's HL1 Engine. Putting it on 66 or
100 should give 64 FPS or around, so it's the same thing. You have to put it
on 200-300 to have enough FPS for your clients to receive 100/s.

What this does is makes it so sys_ticrate is LOCKED on the server once it's
set in the command line.

If it's a GoldSRC game, then he might not be lying. I've seen D3D mode do
some *strange* stuff in my time, but Software mode takes the cake on that
on top of not even bothering to *try* rendering many different things.
