Actually, Valve told me they don't delist for fake clients specifically. That,
plus they were only run for a short period of time several months ago, then
removed when the server stopped showing up, maybe even sooner? I don't really
recall.

It's client side, not server side. So servers can't fake the numbers
to the master

I didn't say that fake clients affected your server score. I'm saying
that players are smart now and know what fake clients are, and 99% of
them will immediately leave a server that runs them. People know when
they've been duped when they click 12/32 and they're the only real
person there.
