Are Linux servers affected at all?

We've got no confirmation that this issue has affected Linux servers,
however just to be safe we'll be rolling this fix out for Linux servers
shortly as well.

Re: [hlds] Optional Update For Killing Floor

2010-11-17 Thread Dayle Flowers
We have reports that Linux servers are affected also, but due to our
Linux updates being built offsite, we've had to wait to release the fix
for Linux servers. We're hoping to get that out later today as part of
a required update, but we're not yet sure that's going to be possible.
It will be available tomorrow at the latest.

I'm so glad that Tripwire replies to queries like this, unlike another games

[hlds] Optional Update for Killing Floor

2009-09-18 Thread Dayle Flowers
A number of server admins have reported getting crashes when the
Patriarch is spawning since the Heavy Metal Update. We have put
together a fix for both Windows and Linux dedicated servers. It's
available behind a beta password, which means you'll have to add the
following to the end of your HLDS Update Tool command line to get it:

-beta kfwinserverfix1006

Please let us know if you have any issues with it.
