Does the server share an installation with other Source games like TF2? If it does, it needs to be separated. Marcel wrote: Hi, when I try to connect to my synergy server I get the error Invalid Steam key size. The server is updated with -verify_all. I mounted hl2 ep1 ep2. Is there any

[hlds_linux] l4d servers disappearing from group servers/ sv_search_key not working since last update

2009-06-29 Thread faulpelz

What happens if you specify the sv_steamgroup cvar in the console while the server is running? It should already be set, but I'm wondering if manually setting it again would correct the problem without a server restart. Or, what happens if you just exec the server's config file from the

[hlds_linux] Kill L4D servers once all games finish

2009-06-29 Thread David A. Parker
Hi, I there a way to make each of my forked L4D servers shutdown and quit once everyone has left? I used shutdown in the master console (via netcon) and it took them all down once they were empty and then all of the forks auto-restarted again. I guess what I'm looking for is a way to
